The Saddleback Valley YMCA Trailblazers program is a continuation for
older children of the YMCA Indian Guide programs.
Trailblazers offers children, third through sixth grades, more
challenging and varied experiences, while teaching leadership and
responsibility. By having fun together at day and weekend outings,
Trailblazers help strengthen the family and foster the relationship
between father and child.
We
are presently designing the future of the Trailblazers program for the
Saddleback Valley YMCA. A Dads meeting will be held after Labor
Day to discuss what other events we want to do this year. We are
presently planning two nation events in the fall, and three events
between January and June 2002, for a total of 5 nation events. Each
tribe can add as many or as few additional events as they want.
